Written and recorded all by JV himself while going through a very traumatic time. Watching his wife's health decline while doctors had no answers.
In here lies a truth of some kind of what personal turmoil is like for the already tortured.
When things get harder and harder and it's just kick in the b*lls after kick in the b*lls. What you gonna do? But pour your heart out into a tape recorder.
You don't get time to come up with some high brained concept that no one gives a sh*t about, nor do you lavishly produce a hi-fi recording. Simply put, you get the songs written and performed and recorded as quickly, as efficiently and as best you can given the the constraints of time and finances.
Through the crap comes a truth that is hard to find sometimes these days in our plastic society. Listen and enjoy!
